Update on HLAA Advisory Panel Meetings on Access to Wireless Communications

HLAA recently participated in AT&T’s Advisory Panel on Access & Aging, CTIA – The Wireless Association’s 911 Location Accuracy Advisory Group, and joined the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) roundtable on advancement and deployment of accessible wireless technologies and the Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA). HLAA is also actively participating in the ongoing meetings regarding access on airlines as a member of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Advisory Committee on Accessible Air Transportation’s (ACCESS Advisory Committee’s) negotiated rulemaking on in-flight entertainment and in-flight communications.
